By accessing or using SniffCast, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use SniffCast.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not create more than one account per person.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

SniffCast is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree to:

Provide accurate information about your dogs, including health data.
Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws.

You may not:

Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app.
Use the app for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
Scrape, copy, or redistribute app content without permission.

4. Health & Safety Disclaimers

SniffCast is NOT veterinary advice. Always consult your veterinarian for medical decisions.
Weather recommendations are suggestions based on available data — they are not guarantees of safety.
Medication reminders are a convenience tool and should not replace professional medical guidance.
You assume all risk for dog walking activities, including assessing real-time conditions.
SniffCast does not replace your professional judgment as a pet owner.

5. Pricing

SniffCast is currently free for all users. Every feature is available at no cost. There is no paid plan, no trial, and no billing at this time. If a paid plan is introduced in the future, we will update these terms and notify users before any charges occur.

6. Intellectual Property

SniffCast owns all rights to the app, including its design, logo, code, and branding.
You retain ownership of any content you upload (photos, notes, etc.).
By uploading content, you grant SniffCast a limited license to use it solely for providing app functionality (e.g., displaying your dog's photo in your profile).

7. Limitation of Liability

SniffCast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:

Injuries to you, your dog, or others during walking or any activity.
Health issues arising from reliance on app recommendations.
Inaccuracies in weather data, forecasts, or scoring.
Missed medication reminders or scheduling errors.
Data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to $100 USD or the maximum permitted by applicable law, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SniffCast, its team, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of SniffCast is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to our data collection and use practices described therein.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon account deletion, all your data (profile, dog profiles, health records, activity logs) will be permanently and immediately removed.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of SniffCast after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the courts of Leon County, Florida.
